Andrew was born in Bolton in 1968. After leaving Canon Slade School he attended Salford University. Andrew joined Fodens in 1986 before leaving in 1992 to work in Bergen, Norway and played with The Eikanger Band. On his return in 1996 Andrew played with Grimethorpe for three years before returning to Fodens where he played until 2005. Since then Andrew has depped with all the leading bands as well as helping bands throughout the sections. Andrew has conducted at many contests and has led bands on numerous times to the national finals.Andrew is also Bb flat bass with Tubular Brass. Andrew has adjudicated both at home and abroad and will be adjudicating at next years area contests.
